'Heads' - Herm, directed by Ian Benjamin Kenny
Talking Heads-esque music video for the first single off Irish act Herm's debut album, Monsters. Shot guerrilla-style in a disused office building. Mix of live footage and animation.

Four or five years ago I started a nerdy little group I dubbed the Music Video Directors Circle Jerk. It was a bunch of LA based music video directors and we would get together and lament over the dying art form we were all so passionate about. We would also occasionally do little projects. One of them was this video, where I split the song up into different pieces and each director had to make a video for that little piece, and also told them to incorporate an apple into it somehow. Then I put them all together into one video and everyone got to see each other's work. Here is the video now, many years later, for all the world to see. I can't remember everyone who participated, but I know Bradley Scott and Keith Schofield both contributed.
Amazing zombies attack!!!

Black Lips live @ Generiq Festival - Sea of Blasphemy
Obscene, violent, outrageous, exciting, dirty, raw, punk, really rock, penis, urine, shouts, saturated guitars, savage, unique, spit... Even if the Black Lips yell more than they sing, these guys do some serious punk rock, the way it's meant to be. The only punk band that truly represents in 2009. Mythical moment.
