Rebelious jukebox - Slave to lust
Rebellious Jukebox encompass the traditions of English art-house rockers, blending an eclectic mix of retro influences with modern-day alternative electro sounds. Chiming guitar melodies become cinematic crash-landings, intricate drum groves and driving bass-lines deliver a complex mix of gloriously moody spaced-out art-rock madness.
Debut single & video ‘Slave to lust‘ released on Monday 5th September 2011 on Longevity Records, the track has already achieved recognition on international radio, with plays by Tim Robinson on BBC6 Music, Introducing on BBC Radio WM, XRP Radio and Gashouse Radio in Philadelphia, USA.
Rebellious are currently recording the rest of the Debut Album due out September 2012 at their own studios in Birmingham with a run of Singles already recorded and videos in the diary it is a busy time for the band!
Rawcuss - Manchester News
Since the release of their debut single ‘TV Fantasies’, February 2011, Rawcuss have gone from strength to strength across the Internet, making the band known around the on-line world. Kimi Ramone in the US and Steve Lamaq have played ‘TV Fantasies’ with a great reception.
In late 2009, the band started putting on gig nights to showcase themselves as well as other local, up-and-coming bands around the North-West of England. Last year the band started their very own gig nights and have just released their 3rd single ‘Manchester News’ on Longevity Records.
The band have been produced by Tim Thomas at Blueprint Studios, Manchester, home of Elbow. Rawcuss have also been involved in the running of and playing at festivals, such as the Goodwood Vintage festival and Beached Festival in Manchester Castlefield. The band have played band on the wall to great acclaim and regularly host themselves at The Roadhouse, both legendary venues of Manchester . Through all of this they are building a loyal fan-base.
Their 4th single, ’Feelings‘ is due out in November 2011. This will complete their first EP ready for promotion early 2012.
