CALL FOR MUSIC VIDEO ENTRIES
Plus Camerimage, the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography, is currently accepting submissions for its 20th anniversary edition featuring, among other sections, the Music Videos Competition which recognizes music videos as a form of film art and a field of audiovisual innovation. The entries are judged with the emphasis on the visual and aesthetic values of an image.
The deadline is September 3rd, 2012 and entries from around the world are accepted. The selected works will be screened during the Festival (24th Nov – 1st Dec) in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Music videos will be judged by international jury comprising film and music industry professionals who will present two prestigious awards: Best Cinematography in a Music Video and Best Music Video.
Last year’s winner of the Best Cinematography award was Karl Erik Brøndbo for his work on DU’s So Hot, directed by Solfrid Kjetså. The best music video award went to Manchester Orchestra’s Simple Math, directed by DANIELS and shot by Jackson Hunt.
