Balloons
Song www.soundcloud.com Blog robertvanoz.tumblr.com Facebook www.facebook.com
I raise my trembling hands up high to put a balloon in the clearly frozen sky where dragonflies breed and atrophy where Candy Bombers used to pass by
I bear my cross in quietude and carry my burden until my doubts are mute in pursuit of home - my only cure I will walk until my itchy feet are sore I am overcome with wanderlust as my balloon ascends in a heavy gust
certain those clouds soon roll by so that I can see my balloon attempting to fly I watch their vapour trails fade away won't ever reach them 'cause they never stay
I bear my cross in quietude...
suddenly I hear their airplanes drone they croon a song so haunting and unknown a song about boundless freedom a song they immortalise you in
I smell their fuel and the smoke of burning wood yes, I would if you could but we never should airlifts and balloons Indian summer this second is weightless wrapped in gossamer
now bear my cross in quietude and lost my doubts and my parachute free fall from the canopy hoping for someone to catch me still overcome with wanderlust as my balloon ascends in a heavy gust

Taffy Flower Chain
Taffy - Flower Chains from ChezEddy on Vimeo.
Directed by Parallel Shot in Tokyo this summer using frosted glass. Produced by ChezEddy & Hiroaki Hayashi
Taffy has solicited Parallel and ChezEddy in Paris to direct the music video of their single “Flower Chain”, which main and recurring theme is denial. Parallel wanted to experiment all the processes offered by photography, animation and sets, to create a variation on fuzziness that would illustrate that theme.
Beyond the focus or depth-of-field basic fuzziness, several pieces of frosted glass were made, reflecting a more or less sharp image according to the distance of the subject.
Big Black Delta - Betamax
Not many new bands can lay claim to praise from the likes of Jay-Z and Dave Navarro in the same week, but then Big Black Delta isn’t just any band.
Having only recently played their first ever UK show to a packed Barfly in London and releasing their debut single 'IFUCKINGLOVEYOU', Big Black Delta bring us Betamax set for release on 5th November.
Betamax is the second single from Big Black Delta's forthcoming album set for release early 2013. The track reveals a more melodic side to the band’s sound and remixes from the likes of breakthrough Dutch dubstep producer Martyn, Lord John Fonda, Shameboy and Kove add yet another dimension. Big Black Delta himself, Jonathan Bates has also been in demand for remixes working with the likes of Rob Zombie, M83 and Dhani Harrison’s Thenewno2’s to name but a few.
Having been on tour with old friends M83 earlier this year, Big Black Delta are currently blazing their way across the US with Jane’s Addiction before returning to the UK for a full tour in October.
The brainchild of Jonathan Bates (Mellowdrone), Big Black Delta explosive live show features dueling drummers and an orchestrated light show using visual elements of the bespoke album artwork, which was created by Jonathan himself and creative director Caspar Newbolt.
No stranger to pushing boundaries, LA based Bates was, until recently, the driving force behind alt. rock favourites Mellowdrone, has been heavily involved in M83’s live and studio sound and has also worked with the likes of White Sea, among others.
Catch Big Black Delta live on tour in October:
October 23 - Hoxton Bar & Grill London October 25 - Soup Kitchen Manchester October 27 - The Asylum Birmingham October 28 - Haddow Fest, Cabaret Voltaire Edinburgh
'Betamax' is available digitally on Masters of Bates Records NOW The single complete with remixes will be available November 5th
