theHEAD formed in 2002, with a lineup of Ben Turley, Tom Taylor and Scott Herbert, sharing multi-instrumental and writing duties. Danny Heifetz (drums β Mr Bungle, Dieselhed) joined soon afterwards. theHEAD serve up a mix of analog synths and acoustic instruments from a pop-rock point of view.
March of the Otters is a synth rock track with robot vocals about the day to day trials of boozed-up otters: a story that speaks to every modern heart. The video: directed by Andrew King, edited by Tom McMahon and designed by theHEADβs Tom Taylor is a world-class triumph of puppetry, set design and silliness.
