Hum of Oblivion "Runnin'" Directed by Akira Films
In "Runnin'" HUM OF OBLIVION explores the postmodern dichotomy of our virtual presence and our real selves. Many of us spend time throughout the day existing somewhere between a digital avatar and one's true identity, often converging fiction and reality. The music video mirrors this juxtaposition. The role of synthetic and organic sounds in the music represent a common thread in the sound of "HoO" but also highlight how we live with this harsh division in everyday life.
