Powell - Clock (Brian Thornburn, Scott Anderson)
"Powell" is a three piece band made up of brothers Casey, Conner and Taylor Powell. Individually they have been playing music since high school, but only just within the last two years have they come together to put out an E.P. entitled, Brothers and their full-length record, Palbum. With their youngest sister Grace lending her hand and playing violin on multiple tracks for Palbum this is truly a family band that you won't want to miss.
Palbum was released on August 21st, 2015 at All Things Music in Shelbyville, KY and August 22nd, 2015 at Kaiju in Louisville, KY. It was produced by Michael Sanders of JetLag Recordings and mastered by Brian Lucey (The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys) of Magic Garden Mastering. Palbum incorporates many influences, including Rock, Funk, Bluegrass, Pop, Classical, Psychedelic, and Alt Rock. It will be a debut record for the ages, and one that will demand a listen.
While Palbum is a fresh release, the Brothers E.P. has already had AirPlay on local Louisville radio stations 91.9 WFPK, 93.3 The Fox as well as radio stations 1600 WTZQ in Asheville, NC and "Keepin' it Radio" in Akron, Ohio. While receiving regular praise for their live performances, Powell make it clear that this is just the beginning for them.
With a summer full of live shows and music festivals scheduled at cities such as Louisville, Lexington, Akron, Chicago and Asheville, catching a Powell show will be available to more fans than ever. Known for their energy and up-tempo performance, Powell brings the tunes.
