Tim Moyer's "Eleven" Video
What Will Get You To Heaven?
Tim Moyer New Video “Eleven” www.youtube.com
(Temecula, CA): Fresh off the release of his latest CD, “Fresh Lemonade,” Award-winning artist Tim Moyer is asking the hard questions with his new video, “Eleven.” The video begs the question: What will get you past the eleventh hour (to heaven)? Words of actions?
“I have always been a loving, accepting person,” Moyer explains. “I often ponder what Jesus would think about what we do and what he would say to us face to face.”
Current events and the passage of time have made the artist less accepting of the dogma he sees being perpetrated. This video is his response to what he sees as intolerance being taught in the name of religion. “My only pulpit is my music,” he says. “It is that lack of empathy and the hope that it still exists that has become my life’s message.”
Working as independently as he thinks, Tim self-released his CD “Out Of The Blue” on his own record label. In 2001, Just Plain Folks honored his with one of his early awards, Folk Album Of The Year. His second album, "Just Me," was self-produced and recorded and no less well-received. “Just Me” garned countless industry praises and the IEMA's "Best Pop Rock" award in 2007. His latest full length is “Fresh Lemonade.” As “Temecula Songwriters” says, Although Moyer may pay homage to the angel Gabriel, in many aspects it is Moyer delivering a message of today’s adult experience. Love, angst, beauty, loyalty, frivolity.”
Count Julie Andrews, with whom he co-write the song “Sweet Water,” as a fan of Tim’s constantly maturing talents. His music is part of the program offered to the President of the United States aboard Air Force 1. He can also be dialed up on channels offered by American Airlines, United Airlines and at College Radio Station across the U.S.. As a solo artist, Tim has shared the stage with greats like Howard Jones, Dave Mason, and America. With his band he's rocked with Eddie Money, the Tubes, Edwin McCain, and Duncan Sheik.
True Margrit's "Opposite Opposite Man
TRUE MARGRIT RELEASES “OPPOSITE, OPPOSITE MAN” First Video from “The Stranger in Us” 64,000 Views on Release Day Now Approaching 90,000
www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKDdoqh3Clc www.truemargrit.com
(San Francisco, CA): Gaining an impressive 64,000 hits on its first day on YouTube, San Francisco’s True Margrit have the first video, “Opposite, Opposite Man,” from The Stranger in Us, the debut feature film from writer and director Scott Boswell. In this verité-style drama, Anthony, a newcomer to San Francisco, attempts to come to terms with his abusive ex-lover when he strikes up an unlikely friendship with a street hustler. The song is from the video veteran’s newest CD, The Juggler’s Progress.
"The Stranger In Us,", starring Raphael Barker, Scott Cox and Adam Perez and is now available at Amazon.com: amzn.to and NetFlix: bit.ly True Margrit's CD "The Juggler's Progress" is now available at iTunes: ...bit.ly. Look for the True Margrit video of "Opposite Opposite Man" on the DVD extras. Margrit wrote and performed the score for this film, and the soundtrack includes two True Margrit songs! "The Stranger In Us" is now available at Amazon.com and on Netflix.
As with all five of their releases to date, True Margrit takes piano-pop to new heights. Equipped with a pack of thematic inspirations including Shakespeare, mountaineering, and evolutionary destiny, True Margrit fashions brainy musings into catchy, poptastic tunes.
Based in San Francisco, True Margrit is fronted by singer/ songwriter/ piano-player (and transplanted Knoxvillian) Margrit Eichler. True Margrit’s sound is fueled by Eichler’s husky/sweet alto, her aggressive piano-playing, her surreal & infectious tunes, and by the fleet-footed rhythm-section of Gary Hobish on bass and Andrew Bacon on drums. The act has undertaken a long string of nightclub, radio, television, and in-store engagements up and down the west coast --and most recently to and from Texas for SxSW (and other adventures).
The Juggler’s Progress also features bay area guest stars—including virtuoso violin by Gloria Justen (of the Philip Glass Ensemble), lush backing vocals by Pam Delgado, and deft guitar by Jeri Jones (both of whom are in San Francisco buzz-band, Blame Sally).
True Margrit has released five recordings: PEUT-ETRE la FENETRE, SYMPATHETIC MAGIC, DECEPTIVELY TRUE, SEAWORTHY, and THE JUGGLER’s PROGRESS.
“…a piano-pop sound that would make Ben Folds jealous and blush with delight. Get this album now.”-J-sin, Smother.net Tom Kidd 310-377-2527

New Music Video Wiki
Although, there is already a music video wiki (Videoville), I have been unable to view and edit pages from that wiki (says page appears to broken).
For past several months, I have been working on another music video wiki at musicvideo.wikia.com. It might be alternative as you can post images and I am looking for some help to improve the wiki.
