New Device "Takin Over" - Dir: Nick Pittom
This video took me 5 weeks of post-production, but certainly feels worth it to me. The band had pointed to a Velvet Revolver video they felt fitted the track and so this was an experiment in acheiving the same hyper-real look. Shot all green-screen, most of the shots then tracked, with the photographic and effects elements added in after effects.
"Red Flags" Dan Rodriguez Artist - Erica Mayer Director
Red Flags - just posted yesterday - music video getting some attention on Youtube today. I had the privilege of working on the motion graphics most of it done starting last Sunday (working in between 2 jobs) but it was a truly collaborative effort and the brain child of Erica Mayer. Karen Alloy stars in it (spricket24 on youtube) as well as the locally Minnesota-famous Don Shelby.
Dan's song about "crazy girls" (and we all know at least one of those) lead naturally to a surreal visualizations and the passing of "creepy love notes"...
Great project created by and for really great people! Thanks for watching! Enjoy! Fav if you like!
Shelley Harland "Friday" - Director Daniel Reisinger
THE STORY OF AN OVERWEIGHT STEEL WORKER WHO LOVES TO FIGURE SKATE.
It was a real challenge to make. We spent weeks casting a lead who was overweight, could act and could really skate. Eventually we found Dale Blunden a house Dad and former speed skater. He was extremely tough taking tumble after tumble, take after take on the hard ice.
We shot in a 100 year old steel foundry where they had absolutely no concept of OH&S. When we first recced the place they let me stir the molten steel (only 2400 degrees Celsius) in my jeans and T Shirt.
I have a background in News and Docos so I try whenever possible to incorporate real life footage. We shot at the Mitchell Cup figure skating championships. The footage cut seamlessly in. Although we found the figure skating community to be very highly strung and they threatened to shut down our production several times. Ultimately though they loved the result.
Watch out for the twist at the end. It always provokes a reaction.

Meeting of Important People "Brittney Lane Don't Care" Directed by Thom Glunt
Meeting of Important People - Brittney Lane Don't Care from Authentik Artists on Vimeo.
Pittsburg based band, Meeting of Important People release the song "Brittney Lane Don't Care". A creative and visually intricate music video that proves great directors don't need to do films to showcase their genius, especially when it comes to crafting a cardboard city and instruments. Inspiring video for an up and coming band.
