HOCKEY "Song Away" - directed by Josh Forbes
From the lovely, lovely VIDEOSTATIC:
If Hockey's "Song Away" sounds like it was ripped from a soundtrack to an obscure John Hughes (R.I.P.) movie, just wait until you click play on the video and see that the video could be a bonus clip from said movie as well. Director Josh Forbes delivers all the embarrassment you wish you didn't remember from that high school dance. Actor Paul Rust (I Love You, Beth Cooper) plays the male lead, strutting his stuff out on the dancefloor like an epileptic peacock in mating season. Charlene Yi (Knocked Up, Paper Hearts) heeds his call, although only after she's knocked out of her senses by a flying shoe. Hockey are in the video as well, both as the featured group at this gymnasium dance and as ethereal sprites from the '80s, egging on the heartbreak. --> watch "Song Away"
