Gossip - Love Long Distance
After his genius triumph with Kid606, Joel Trussell is back with his lovely cartoons on real life round things – in this case, giant bouncy balloons, sometimes attached to people – for the rather more high profile Gossip.
And this one came to Joel from the great Rick Rubin himself. Rick (who produced The Gossip album) is a big fan of the marvellous video for Jakob Dylan’s Evil Is Alive And Well that Joel completed about a year ago. And as Beth & Co. were unavailable, he recommended the best animator/director in Tennessee (and most other places) for the job.
