The Melina marathon continues. Is it true that she won MVPA best director of the year?

Designer/Animators: Greg Shultz, Jacky Jiang, Justin Greiner Design & Animation Compnay: GASKET After releasing their first 2 albums with the Seattle based Slabco label they caught the attention of Mike D from the Beastie Boys, who then signed them to his label, Grand Royal. After the release of an ep and a full length, the label folded and all the bands were set free.

Nina Persson's (The Cardigans) second solo album sounds like it's going to be awesome. This video, however, would hardly give any indicator of such awesomeness. If anyone remembers previous Cardi videos (from fellow Swedish directors), you will know exactly why this video is such a huge disappointment.

And the budgets keep falling...

I know this is a waste of a post, but ah well. Here's the trailer for Akerlund new film from Platinum Dunes, the same company who ruin the film careers of MV directors like Nispel, Meyers, and Bayer very soon. The trailer is Italian dubbed, but what I can get from it is that its Akerlund's "Se7en".

This is not necessarily new, but I didnt see it up here yet, so I took the pleasure of putting it up. Gaga hasnt work with alot of directors so far (Melina, Ray Kay), but I think Melina fits her to a t.

Kanye West, Spike Jonze, and Rita G take to the arid Nevada desert to create Flashing Lights, this year's winner of the controversial Best Urban Video category. Jonathan Becker, the video's producer, elaborates:

"Making this video was one of the highlights of my career. It was Bucks Boys first project, shortly after launching our company. "Flashing Lights" was a true collaboration between Spike & Kanye. Two amazing artists in their own mediums, both with a mutual respect for the others craft. This was not a typical video. It was conceived, produced, edited and out to the world in less than a week. The crew was incredible, which included the masterful Steadicam work of Larry McConkey. We are thrilled that the video won "Best Urban Video" at the Antville Music Video Awards and would like to thank Spike Jonze and Kanye West for allowing us the opportunity to help create the project."
