(RQ) Desperate seeks: Garland Jeffreys - The Answer (1992) Dir.: Kevin Godley (?)
Long years ago, this excellent video was shown on MTV and it disappeared without a trace. It's about a brain operation in which all the bad things (newspapers, time-bombs, toilet stuff, etc.) are removed from the singer's opened skull, and replaced by a real brain.
Anyone knows where to find it?
(Youtube, Real, WMV, MPG, Avi, SWF, QT, anything...)

Run Wrake : Lots of Music Videos
Am surprised Run Wrake hasn't been mentioned more here. There's a stack of his gorgeous and wildly lateral animated music videos at his homepage - which has a large archive of short film, music video and advertisements. Unfortunately they are only excerpts, but still delicious. More excerpts at bermuda shorts, and his highly recommended Run Wrake DVD compilation from Gasbooks, show his music clips including stacks with Howie B. More recently he's done clips for Future Sound of London, The Charlatans, Stereo MCs, U2 and many more - be cool to see any links to these pop up here.
Highly, highly recommended for fans of relentlessly inventive and eclectic animation styles.
Recent interview with him here.
Baseball - Live, violin-fronted, post-punk from Melbourne - (trainwreck2020)

3 Cameras, 34 degrees,200 percent humidity... mad violin.
Discussion: YouTube & MV Viewership
The Flaming Lips have YouTubed their latest self-created video, to the toll of 3,000 views currently.
YouTube marks 5,662,082 views for their most viewed clip. But catch this: Kanye - Touch the Sky is about to crack FOUR MILLION views? Shit! (N.B. I don't think that's unique)
Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy is at 3.5m! And Black Eyed Peas - Pump It is 2.6m. (Francis Lawrence's latest)

Pictures from Nagi Noda's new video for Tiga
I'm looking forward to this video more than I have any other recently. I think it could be really special. Anyone know if it's up anywhere yet? It's not on the Partizan site, or on her personal site.
Sleep Now in the Fire - Rage Against the Machine (Director: Michael Moore)
This is probably the best music video Rage Against the Machine ever made. Just the scene when they are playing in front of the New York
Stock Exchange is great. Plus, I like the political message they send out in this video.
