This is our second music video for our latest album "Relentless". It was shot at Anthony's on Jefferson in Milwaukee, WI and it was amazing to shoot. I think the craziest part for me was all the women in the video volunteering to get their booties on camera shaking!

We at HannesJohannes just finished episode 2/5 "MRDR It's Ok" for the Brooklyn based band Team Spirit's animated music video series.
This story continues where the last one left off(video for "Jesus, He's Alright") down in hell. You'll see the band get chained up and forced to play at Satans wedding. Everything is created from scratch on paper. Drawn with fine liners, then scanned and cut out piece by piece. Being only two people on this it took us little more than a month to complete.

Check out the new video from the 80s-inspired electronic pop duo Neon Neon as premiered here, made up of former Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys and producer Boom Bip. The band’s second album, 'Praxis Makes Perfect', will be released later this year, and is built around a rather unexpected protagonist: a little-known 1960s Italian publisher and political campaigner by the name of Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. A Communist activist, Feltrinelli traveled the world making friends with Third World radicals like Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, before he was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the foot of a high-voltage power line outside Milan in 1972.

Phil Carron has brought out the inner ‘flasher meets teddy-boy’ in French band La Plage, as well as shrinking them down to imp-like size. Phil’s miniature, guitar-wielding terrors run amok among the home before delivering a big surprise to the song’s namesake lady, albeit by tiny people.
Phil Carron: “I had the idea to put the band in interaction with Louise, but I didn’t want to show her during the video: Louise has to be a fantasy. That’s why I chose to show Louise’s universe, to show where she lives, what she eats, what she wears, what she reads, what kind of music she likes and more. But to see the band playing in Louise’s flat was not enough. The idea was to make them small, like mice or something like that. It goes perfectly with the fact that Louise is a fantasy!”

Listening to the song, I thought it expressed the angst that the singer and the band had about how difficult it was to 'make it'. I wanted to play out this idea within the context of what originally made them want to be musicians. Taking them back to being kids, with dreams of being famous musicians & mixing this up with how you have to go out there and grab fans and try and make them come to your shows.
