Autobus is a band from Lima, Perú, the band has found a very particular sound that has not been found very often in southamerican rock. Autobus combines different genres and sounds when composing their songs, their influences range from fully electronic groups such as Justice, Paassion Pit, to bands like Wilco, Spoon, Foals and more. With his short career on the stage, they have already played major events such as the backing band for The Killers concert in Peru, Franz Ferdinand, Soul Asylum, playing to audiences of up to 35,000 people. They have also played in the Peru's largest fetivales shared the stage with bands like Molotov (Mexico) and Los Pericos (Argentina) and recently (Feb 2011) the band opened for Janes Adicction, an emblematic 90s band.
Now Autobus is a about to release their a new album called "Maquina Destruccion" with 10 topics that they plan to conquer new markets and to tour several U.S. cities and Europe.
