A cute idea done in by some poor direction and editing. It has flashes of greatness (the clocks, the mayor, the very last shot...), but for the most part it's pretty boring and the editing is spastic for no reason other than to make it more punchy.
Not saying it's a bad video, it just could have been so much better. Still, I'd be curious to see more of this director's work.
well I did watch the whole thing - not bad- it's a really good song -

the mayor part really irked me- I have no idea why the band would agree to what seems like a dumb in-joke from the director.
but man that girl is amazingly beautiful
both blinky (average editor) and captian marc (super wanna-be of music video)

...the editing fits the concept...the concept is ALL OVER THE PLACE and so is the editing...ya know what I mean..??
it's fun, and with some videos that is all that needs to be done, JUST MAKE IT FUN
this is not the kind of vid that needs to be over thought...just keep it moving, fill it with stuff and call it a day...and I also love the song

Alluring? I don't know if that's the right word. I think it's pretty obvious from my original post that I'm pretty half & half on the whole thing. As for past postings, well who knows. I guess I'm just interested to see what people can do with a small budget. Sometimes I think they're pretty clever (like that one with the motorcycle riding hamster).
