The Mighty Sweet - Park, Park
A lighthearted indie rock video that takes a jab at the prescription drug industry and their misleading advertising tactics. Inspired by the upcoming feature film "MEND".

hot video and hot song. cant wait to see the movie...
The light melody...the soft lyrics...the happy scene. It's exactly how carefree the prescription drug industry portrays their products. The same way this video uses music to hide the ugly scene the drug creates as it crashes the party; the prescription drug industry tries to hide their possible dangerous side effects with smiling faces and active, happy people in their advertisements. Watch the video alone without the music and the disintegration of this seemingly happy event is more evident as the drug slowly takes over these people's lives. In the end, the father all but gives in as the drug has taken over.
PLANT!!!
don't hate...congratulate.
dude... rik-guyver, ren and duel_ have never posted to antville before. there's nothing wrong with new people posting their own work, it's great - just realize if you try to do it in the 3rd person and "comment" on it, that people may not be fooled.

Ok, not to flame, but as a new person on this board...what are the rules?
A friend of mine made an appearance in this video and she shared this link with me. So if a friend appears in a video, I shouldn't comment on it? It was her first time and she was excited about it.
If you'd prefer, I'll remove my comments?
I'd say that is a cute video, though pretty disjointed from the music.
As for the comments, maybe they were baked when they wrote them.
sorry, I don't want to sound mean or elitist... it's just the whole thing feels very staged.

I hear ya...my connection to this video is that I know one of the girls in it, that's all. I'm no film/video critic...but at the same time, I didn't just shower her with praise, lol.
I'm the guy in the pill costume. I think all of you are staged.
