Year Of The Rat Badly Drawn Boy

One of the best videos of 2004. A real classic. I saw it at RESFEST, and director Monkmus was there in the audience. It got a big cheer. That's my story.

ironically enough, this is one well drawn boy. yeah i like this video, but nothing too amazing, though.

Yeah, I'm not too certain what the buzz was about on this one. It's cute and I like it, but I didn't find it to be that wildly original or the animation top notch. Reminded me of an animated version of that Dave Matthews video, with the hugging guy (I think I liked that one better).

no, it's not the most profound storyline, vanguard animation, or exceptional music. but, it is loving, and that's different. i posted it right after reading the comments on the mars volta l'via video post. everyone there was all irate. i thought it would be nice to remind everyone to not be a dick and hump each other instead...i mean hug each other. whatever.

RESFEST! xlnt. yea, i first saw this one then also. i toured with them to nyc, bristol, and london one year and got to really know the people of res, palm pix, and brilliant folks like amon tobin and michel gondry. yea, that was fun. i helped with tech and shit. xo
