Greatest Hits from Solo por las Ninas Audiovisual (Only for the Girls AV)
We've made a selection of our (we hope so) best videos in our three year running as a music video production company.
Greetings from the freakin bottom of the world, your friends of SPLN in Santiago of Chile.
this is your fourth posting (and 3rd comment) in 5 months.... we get it - you make Chilean After Effects videos for bands nobody has heard of.

So, is there some kind of crime about posting our videos? Man, we only want to show our work. All that "chilean after effects" thing. Now we feel really sad.
no crime in posting it. But why post it over and over? There's a directory. They're already here.
Ok. Ok. But this videos on the image we just posted them in our site. We only wanted to say that. Don't get bitter mr captain, nobody gets hurt with a tiny posted thing.
yo captain...not to interfere but why the hatin'? chill out man. there are new people who come to this site that haven't seen previous posts so throwing up a new message every now and then ain't so bad. it's the internet...it's free! be happy.

If people didn't trash talk multiple posting, than this would become a site where every week, every self-promoting director would repost their most recent video in an attempt to "be at the top." If anyone is new to this site they can browse through the directory and click on any link.
While you're loving on spln, why don't you sit through some of their videos and write some reviews?
Yeah Bindy! Thanks. Mr captain, why we dont stop this nonsense discution about posting or not posting and delight us with some kind of review of the videos? Isn't that the whole point about this site? You said it.
Ehm... binkystick. That's right.
spin kid: my post is about how your multiple posts are annoying because, with virtually no feedback on the previous threads, I conclude there is virtually no interest. Going to your site and watching your videos would hurt my argument.
bindy: watch all these videos and give spin kid his desired feedback.
irony: this tedious thread will probably send more people to your site than had the ignoring continued.
I know that probably being from such a distant and unknown place as Chile, and having a different language and everything could be not atractive for you to give a review or some feedback about these videos. But everytime that I post something here, we have a lot of visits, and our videos are downloaded from such different places as Japan, Russia or Australia. I root for the global thing, you know? If I'm here in southamerica and I try to watch videos from everywhere, why I would not be wanting to people from other places to see our work. Anyway, thanks for stoping ignoring.
captain-- i agree that it'd be uncool if people were posting their own stuff every week non-stop to be at the top. But if spin_kid were to stop posting becuase there was no comment the first time he posted, then he should post again. No comments the 2nd time, go for a third. He's being politely persistant which to me is all good.
And I'm gonna take your advice and check out their vids.

I watched all of your vids. I watched them with the eyes of someone unfamiliar with Chile--culture, language, geography, so for me it was interesting. There were some things I noticed watching them.
One was that even though I am not familiar with Chile, the images in the videos did not seem that foreign to me. The image quality and the use of special effects were really well done. But that sort of left me yearning for something more. My favorite video was the one of the girl taking photographs of flowers. For someone who has never been to Chile, I liked seeing some of the landscape of your country (that's where the video was film i presume?) The story was simple and focused more on the narrative between the girl and her thoughts on urbanization. I would love to see more scenes of Chile---people, foods, landscapes. From your point of view though, those types of everyday things probably seem a bit mundane, but for a global audience, a glimpse into the everyday scene of Chile would be dope.
I also noticed many themes of the video were fantasy based....the group flying around in the spaceship, the woman who enters a movie through the movie screen, the man having fantasies of different women in the virtual reality clip. It was interesting to see your take on sci-fi in the spaceship video.
All in all, the quality of the videos I thought were good. If there is a way to somehow enunciate more of Chilean culture, to make it stand out among the barrage of special FX based clips, that'd be even better. Oh--the video of Christell was crazy...who is she? A couple ideas that popped into my head which might make interesting vids: -Chilean folklore -Something to do with the food unique to Chile -Transportation on Chilean roads:bikes, cars, trucks, trains?
peace out
eat a bug: Thank you for watching our videos and gave us such great feedback. Probably you are right about the videos somehow doesn't give a more scenic and more unique perspective about Chile and its culture. But, you know, we grow up here watching the same MTV (kinda, we have the latin branch here) and the same movies as anybody else in the world. But, how knows? probably we will atention to your advice, and do something "muy chileno". Fantasy and its conection with urban life has been our thing for a long time, so great that you noticed. And about Christell, she is a child star (she became famous in a "American Idol" esque show) and the biggest selling artist last year in our country. She's also as "guest star" on the "Manzana" vid of "Los Prisioneros" (they were the biggest chilean band on the eighties, so somehow was a funny take having them been under control of this little girl as a representation of what is happening in the chilean record industry now). Well thank you again for watching our stuff. Finally we got some feedback. It would be great to get some more.
Chao.
Why does everyone have such a hatered of aftereffects on this site? Are you guys composititors or something? Is it aftereffects in preticular you all dislike or just when it's used poorly? I'm just confused because I've read some down-right vicious attacks on pretty good videos who've used the program. Is it considered cheating in these parts? -j
