Stars - Reunion
Reunion (real)
Great band. I wish they would have made a video for 'your ex lover is dead,' instead of this song, though. I don't know, I "see" more in that song.
It's cute anyhow.
very cute. Looks great too.
Nice job. The dancing reminds me of that odd scene in a Hal Hartley short (I can't remember which -- Amatuer?) where the businessmen all start dancing for no reason.
The video for "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead" is finished and I have watched it and it is really beautiful, but for some reason they are holding on to it.
I found a bit of info about it at vh1.com:
"A second video is already waiting in the wings. Directed by another compatriot — labelmates Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew — the album's bittersweet overture, "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead," was filmed in wintry Montreal and almost caused the group to get hypothermia during the shoot. "It's a ghost story about a guy who goes skating every night to meet his dead lover on the frozen pond," Campbell said of the visually evocative and poetic video. "And they dance together for a while, but then death comes for them and he goes up in flames."
yessss. I love their stuff. saw them at the knitting factory (though I can't say I remember much of that night) and later the henry fonda, both in LA. good times, hope they'll come back soon.
This is the Spy Guy and wondering how this video even got posted as its not the finished product yet.... maybe someone would own up to posting this and how they got it. I think we might need to get a better firewall on our site. Also "Your Ex-Lover is dead" is a co direction under the name "Expeimental Parachute Collective" which can be one of many different directors. This video however was co directed by George Vale & Kevin Drew. The video should be done in the the next week and we will post it as soon as its ready.......
I found out about the video on the Stars message board at the Arts & Crafts site. I don't want to get anyone in trouble but all you really need to do is simply follow the link to find out who is hosting it on their site.
dude, you don't even have a password set for the directory and you're talking about firewalls?
