this video is kind of lame but then i'm not big into performance videos. and as far as performance videos go it's not bad... keeps with the whole le tigre diy imagery.

oh and it's directed by wynne greenwood (tracy + the plastics).

Obviously the band likes whatever that 80's kitsch retro-y thing is, but there's a way to keep that motif and still make it look cool. With this, it looks like they just dialed up the irony meter too high and it turned on them, leaving a video that would have been considered bad and unapproachable in the decade it's trying to emulate.
