The video for Holla Back Girl is a poetic meditation on our collective lost innocence, which artfully uses a ghostly high school setting to explore the bankrupted soul of Gwen, a disillusioned 35 year old slave owner. Like the tragic march of Death in Bergman's 7th Seal or the ghostly parade in Fellini's 8 1/2, Gwen leads a troupe of high schoolers to what we can only assume is their ultimate death and eternal damnation.

Also, It's funny how she sticks her butt out when she says "It's my shit." As if the song and the video are literally being pooped out onto my screen and into my ears.

this is the best video to come out of the LAMB album, there is no point in posting anything here that isnt on that earnest, white people, indie rock, look at me Im so different tip. And regarding dickensian-hero's comment re the neptunes, anyone making a pop album who can afford certainly should use them, they are the best producers available, they make the hottest shit, period.
