This is an absolutely awesome video. I can't believe so many people are hung up on the Mac references and fail to notice that Fincher has produced a real breakthrough video. I mean, imagine seeing this in between "Hollaback girl" and "Blue orchid". It's just so completely different and way off the norm of what music videos are today while still representing the song bringing it's own force to it.

This isn't a breakthrough video. At times, it's mildly interesting, but by and large, it isn't very clever, it never goes anywhere, and the effects are pretty blah. It isn't even shot very well, for a Fincher video.
trent reznor is literally caught in the trappings of yuppie crap. why is this video so hard for people to appreciate?
