Fresh concept, but the video really seems to lag at many points. I wasn't sure if the cheezy transitions were supposed to be a part of the whole "toy marketing video" thing or not. My confusion lies in the fact that there are two things going on here: the awesome concept of the band in this world (which involves semi-complex imaging) and the emulation of the toy set video.
Because of this, there are two competing styles: parody versus high-concept. This juxtaposition makes it difficult to categortise one effect style versus the next.
I personally feel that they should have ditched the idea of it being a toy marketing video completely and just allow the band to exist in this world on their own. That would eliminate the confusion of the lame transitions and handheld camera, which would leave more room for more cool shit.

i agree with enzowaterman but i don't stand behind his suggestions for fixing this boring video. my suggestion would be going back in time and killing hitler before he was born, thus changing the year 2005 so immeasureably that none of us would have been born and this video never made at all.

seems like wannabe shynola stuff. its original and reasonably well done but doesnt have that extra 10%
"Feel the Machine" is more interesting, but I still feel empty inside after watching it. I'm going to go burn this depression off with some poloties. -j
