fun track

i like the design and the senibility and a cool track but then it doens't go anywhere. there's an opportunity for at least some visual irony or something but in the second half it's just repeating shots. the early blue screen videos it's referencing suffer from the same lack of purpose. it's missing that extra element needed in order to elevate it beyond just apeing something from the past.

perhaps that extra element could be... apes?

This is an exciting new band and a very exciting new director. Her other video for Clor "Love & Pain" is even better. I saw the band live this weekend and they were excellent. I hope this is the start of something big.
