This video changed my life.
When a work of such breadth and mastery is discounted as "feel good crap" simply because it deals with uplifting subject matter, it simply reveals the narrowmindedness in which today's audience views the avant garde in relation to the traditional. I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds, but it seems to me that our expectations as an audience have been switched from the expectation of the idealistic conclusion to the bizarre rhetorical trajedy, not widened to encompass all possibilities in between.
