I disagree, it doesn't get much more generic than this. I can't really think of a single thing in this video that was exciting or fun to watch (except for kelis' boobs).

meh didn't care for it at all. Saw little personality from Klasfeld. Song is weak - not really working with her vocal limitations and the chorus is retarded. It's no Milkshake or Millionaire.
Just saw this on tha TV - It's not a conceptual piece, that's for sure, which really disappoints me cuz Marc has proven he can do great work. He seems to be going in this silky-rap-vid direction (re: Juvenile "Rodeo"), but this stuff is played out. Every director is allowed to pay their rent, though. (amen!)
A total twist for Kelis. The spot-lighting, re: Fiona Apple "Criminal" & NERD "Lapdance", is nice. Trippy seeing Too $hort. But I won't remember this very much..
Well, changed my mind a bit after seeing it a bunch: It's distinctive and well shot & lit compared to a lot of others, but Marc is treading down familiar pathways. Love that she refs Smitty
Agreed. It is thoroughly generic in content, but if even some of the others tried the swagger and panache that Kelis & Klasfeld bring to this... people look like they're having fun with it, not parading it
