The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #1 (Dir. Josh Deu)
Sucks almost as much as the band, but I did enjoy the power out video, with the volume off. This band reminds me of the scene from "Revenge of the Nerds" when they rock out at the Carnival.
Wow bomb_el, not a fan I guess, huh? Anyhow, yeah, the vid isn't that awesome...
its really sad when a great band like the arcade fire never had a decent video. really is.
I don't watch Arcade Fire vids because I fear it'll ruin my own vision of the song.
It would have been better if they would have just stuck to the performance elements. I didn't like the animation at all.
I liked it; the animation was a bit too aftereffect-cy but it blended with the performance stuff quite well. -j
eh it wasn't THAT bad; but not at all worthy of repeat viewings.
I would've thought by this point some A-list director would've jumped at the chance to do an Arcade Fire video, no matter what the budget.
Instead it's like they're some generic Canadian band who has all their videos done by these generic directors.
Aftereffect-cy looking stuff is really hurting many music vids these days.
