This is one crazy edit. Gave me a headache when I saw it on TV...

reminded me of the bourne supremacy, wherein i got so overinvolved with watching the cuts that i paid no attention whatsoever to the content. and frequently had to look away. which makes me think cutting like this is maybe a questionable strategy.

         

Today's films commercials and music vids have faster cuts and shorter shots & ideas in response to the short attention spans of our society ( brought upon by this exact reason ) although I must definately say that we have not reached this level of A.D.D yet....this is just ridiculous, annoying and too obnoxious to watch.

         

I think that this kind of editing to every beat of the song could have some creative potential though. This video is pretty bland, but I could imagine something really cool that experimented more with different images and juxtapositions.
