btw, did everyone hear that Spike Jonze is doing "Where the Wild things Are" with giant Jim Henson Muppets and no CGI? Now that's cool.
Yeah im looking forward to that movie Captain. I for one, I think there's good and bad work in CG animation and live action animation / puppeteering. Its funny how simular it is to create character animation in the computer versus doing it in live action. Both types of animators have to know animation well, period. I garuntee there will be some kind of CG use in the final film anyway Captain.
It must be some sketch edit - you wait a full minute for anything interesting to happen and then when it does it isn't.
CG itself is not the problem. The problem lies in the poor execution, and lack of concept... Don't take one bad piece out on the whole art form...
