Single Frame - The Slip (directed by the Los)
Hot video for "The Slip" By Single Frame from the album Wetheads Come Running. Very clean and very adorable. It will make you want to guy buy puppies and play with Pandas.
The director is new on the scene and shot this using his own money. He's looking for some feedback, so be a champ and help a struggling director out.
The Slip - iPod compatible Quicktime (via So Hot Right Now)
I like the opening of the guy tripping. Funny and moves well with the music. It took a while to develop the story. I didn't get into it until a minute or so. Seems like there could have been a few more surprises in it. Also, not sure why you put credits at the end. Good effort, it just needs more.
Cute chick!
I agree with jackcatfish that it took too long to get to the action. From there, you probably could have added a subplot or a few more quirks to hold our attention until the end. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good.
First up ditch your fields before you render a web QuickTime it will look heaps better, may want to turn on some kind of frame blending if possible as well. I agree with the above comments, the establishing goes on for far too long, we get the situation after like three cuts. The scenario doesn’t really go anywhere either, even though it’s a clip it could still do with a hint of a three-act structure to help orientate the viewer. You have one edit that jars, just before they bump into each other you show him walking on a raised surface and then in the next shot on the ground, doesn’t really work. Otherwise its totally fine and very professional looking in parts,.
And dood
Don’t roll out the "struggling Director" crap on us. We are all on the same level here, let your work stand for itself without any inducement.
