Ah, memories. Welcome, Nick. Where did the name GobTV come from, anyway? I always thought it was some weird off-shoot of the Big TV! fellas.

Thanks. No, Gob TV was initially an idea I had for a TV show in about 1990, which would have been presented by Swells (Steven Wells of the NME). Then we thought it'd be fun to make some pop vids together and thought Gob TV suited us well. The name has since been nicked by some Canadian TV show. Just in the process of doing my first music vid stuff for years....after posting my stuff on myspace I have had loads of requests. Great idea this site. Mike O'keefe told me about it this morning. Do you have any quick list of your 80 or so mv's on file anywhere? I work with Alex at Mvdbase and I doubt the Gob TV entry is complete..

It wasn't last time I looked. I sent an update to Alex but don't know if he did anything with it. Tell em where to send it and I'll write a new one up (so far as I can)...last list lost in dropped Notebook.
