antdude: maybe the camera was on a programmed track. then they just spliced together multiple takes of the same track (or at least sections).

On TV it's more obvious that these scenes have all been somehow sewn together digitally. It's most obvious when the 'camera' zooms because focus is lost. I'm not a CG guy so I don't know how it's done.

Your on to it Kev. Its 4 locked shots maybe 6 or 8 that are they put into After Effects. Each plate is made into 3d layers. Then each one rotated around and composited together. Then in After Effects they use camera to pan around. Its a nice trick that a few Directors are using right now...
