Havent seen it up here yet but here is the real version of this video, complete with guest stars Dennis Hopper and Dean Stockwell. QT www.hsiproductions.com wmv stream streamos.warnermusic.com
Quicktime:
Directed by Robert Hales.
Not a great video, the fx certainly weren't all that well composited, but you put Dennis Hopper in anything and the level of "hip" suddenly skyrockets.
Hmmm.. Very undecided as of yet. This is a great video (sorry sdelahoyde :), but I need to see it on TV. Very smart to connect them with music history, something that I think is missing from most popular (i.e. radio) music.
Yes, that first match looks poorly integrated, but the rest don't look as bad (here).
Love the Thriller ref.
Much more satisfying than Klasfeld's version.
i thought it was pretty good; the revolution scenes were the best. Not sure if the Bowie scenes worked... Also I didn't really care for the Dennis Hopper / Dean Stockwell(?) intro. (Hey, Blue Velvet!) They just seemed to ramble on for way to long.
It seems every other video these days is some riff on the theme of 'the band through time' - everyone remember Nirvana's "In Bloom" ? that was awesome.
shit track, methinks. vid? ho-hum.
party track, methinks (?) vid? Yo ho: cool!
Yeah, track's pretty good, not shit though. Video's pretty cool - I think I agree with c-marc. Cut off the rambling..
