Here's something a little bit different for this site. This song sounds just like any other rap song, but the lyrics make it different from all other rap songs out there. The song is about skateboarding! The music video features skateboarders doing different tricks in different areas. Even though its about skateboarding, its very refreshing to hear because it raps about something different, instead of the usual (sex, pimpin, money, etc.).
Love the video. Love music. Love the concept.
Love the fact this is actually getting played on the radio and TV.
I hate the polarizing argument about what hip hop should be, though.
And it's proponents.

and here we go again..... it's a nice song AND a nice video. not spectacular but nice. i like the typo and the fact that it doesn't rely too much on skateboarding shots. very moody.
and...hiphop culture is mainstream, that's why people alway come up with the sex, money & murder arguments. but....
