Tote King "al rojo vivo" - Directed by Sergio de Arrola & Adrian Alescio
My first work with my friend Sergio The artist is Tote King, a famous rapper from Spain, and the video is for the 2006 FIBA World Championship The video was done in just 3 day in Barcelona
Boyakasha. We get the basketball thing and it all becomes a bit Ali G with all the 'graffiti'. OK track though.
For a rather more convincing/inventive basketball court BO-to-camera video I'd check out Spike Jonze's Sure Shot for the Beastie Boys.
this is pretty nice for a first piece. First of all the track is definitely proper. Great energy with the editing. The graffiti scribbles added a little something extra and you didnt seem to overdo it. Nice distribution of locations. Love the silhouette shot. The actual basketball shots could have been distributed throughout the video a little better. The side shots of the performer really bothered me. I'm guessing you shot the video with 2 cameras for coverage, but i feel the side shots broke my connection with the performer. I would suggest you lose those. It would be much better to just to a CU of the performer or cut to something else. overall nice energetic piece....
thanks for the advices!!!
