Wayne Isham 1-upping/stealing Jim Blashfield's Sowing the Seeds of Love. Both were Breakthrough Videos on MTV, even though Blashfield already made his 'breakthrough' with Talking Heads "And She Was". They both kinda have that hippie-consciousness vibe that was a trend in mv from 1989 to around 1993 - hell, Whatzupwitu probably put the last nail in the coffin. I'm not sure it worked for Eddie. ..or Michael. (btw I love this vid)

         

Nice, but it worked even better a few years later when they added Magic Johnson to the mix.

         

To be a stickler, Remember the Time came out a year before Whatzupwitu, but your point still stands. "Do you remember the time, when we had budgets.."
