i say this every time we get an 8-bit / 4-bit themed music video....
there are certain rules for these things that are all ingrained in our mind based on staring at these screens for hours and hours.
when it's done right it's co cool..... again, Shynola's Junior Senior video or Paul Robertson's work (though that's 16bit)...
when they don't follow the rules everything looks a bit off and it's so mehhhhhhhhh....

I really like The Spinto Band, and I do think that some rules are there to be broken. However, I also think that most of this video looks like crap (sorry). A lot of the images look stretched and ugly, the movement of the singer was horrible, and the final feeling you get is that the video was done in a hurry.
