Interesting 'cos it contains possibly one of the most uncomfortable and self-conscious performances I've ever seen. Yet strangely charming.
The French, eh? They can spot talent - or at least sexual charisma - quite a way ahead of the rest of us. I watch this bewildered by the gawky chastity of a chanteuse hymning her Charon of the Parisian sewers of vice. Perhaps I'm letting my imagination run away with me?
Well, not really. The French are perfectly capable of going over the top too (remember Lemon Incest?)
Still Mr Depp fell under her charms! They got a couple ov kids together

Stuff you didn't really care to know: Vanessa was the voice for Florence, (Margote) in the french version ov the Magic Roundabout (Kylie voices the english version)
I love Vanessa Paradis; it is a shame that her video-collection, which is a nice journey through the pop-history, isn't released on dvd (only vhs as far as I know ...)
