Wow, thats very nice work lovely textures and mood. I am rather a fan of the paper cut-out look it has a whimsical picturebook feel that can work really nicely if done well like this. Can we have some details as to the production of this clip.? On the directors website there are no notes and the stills section contains only photographs, is this all the directors own work or were others involved illustrators, animators etc.? Also for Telemetry fans check out the website of one of the band members Steve Scott www.stevescott.com.au An awesome Illustrator/Animator, His early no Budget Telemetry clips are gorgeous, there are stills on his website but no clips thus far, ill try and track some down.
nice work, i guess - not so sure about the narrative...
Second that. Great to look at but doesn't go anywhere
Youre right in as far as you said a lovely 'blend' .. it is nice compositing, the backgrounds & props look 'ok', but a pretty poop narrative, ... and what is with the character design? Horrid. looks like some horroscope page illustrations from an 80s teen girl magazine. ..id imagine.
