Red Hot Chili Peppers: Otherside * Directors: Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris
A great Red Hot Chili Peppers video from around 2000 that was inspired by "futurist artists from the '30s, and the illustrations of the Surrealists and from Cubism" (according to director Valerie Faris).

Thanks for the link. There are some good videos on that site.
one of my favorite videos of all time. love the color(or lack of)
I love love love this video. It reminds me a lot of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
This is just them trying to repeat the success they had with Tonight, Tonight by once again updating an old film style. It's not bad, but they pulled it off a lot better with Tonight, Tonight. I suppose it's not helping that I hate the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
EXactly, AARIQ - the video is a stylized version of German Expressionism...not cubism
find it hard to believe this is anyones favourite video nevermind 'loved'. its a half decent idea half executed with little pace, bog all energy & feels like a student film. Dull performances are brought down further by nigh on the exact same set up everytime we return to them - why? Miscast bloke who looks like a bland model... 'action' that feels stiff & stagey rather than surreal or creepy & Keidis looks like hes just got up, or just about to go to bed. Rubbish.
I'd like to see a futurist inspired video some day - but this isn't it.
student film, wow. what school did you go to Puttyfingers?
Yeeees. Everlong without any humour I'm afraid.
This seemed nothing at all like Everlong to me.
leo_b: just came across this short: giocattoli futuristi on the refurb'ed submarine channel...
