I vaguely remember this song seeming like a clever cover when it came out, now its an exercise in wincing and cringing. The performance from the kid in the yellow shirt completely upstages the band, and that's probably okay. I never understood the significance of the boxing ring in the backyard. Was that a Michael Jackson homage that I just can't place, or did they just think it would be cool to play in a boxing ring?
