erm, some of these fake effects were fun (the water pouring in, the candle snuffing out), not sure what felt off about it - maybe the band's styling (the tatoos.. the vassar shirt, har-de-har...), perhaps it was just the awfully soapey cgi bubbles (surely you could have shot some plates of real bubbles to work in there). dunno - maybe it's that tim hope's fake déluge for coldplay is still such a ref for me that this was a little neither here nor there. maybe it's that middling country tracks give me the heebees. but: props for effort&all.
