Calle 13 - Suave, Directors - Israel Lugo y Gabreiel Coss
Weird to say the least, Residente (René Perez) suffers hallucinations after receiving an injection during hospitalisation, following a car accident, Summit to do with merging images in his mind ov his fiancée and the nurse I think!
Pretty dreadful duotone reggae/dancehall - worse even than Sean Paul.
Thanks be then for a performer (Perez) with some sense of wit and a pair of directros who want to preserve that and mix it up. Suave probably refers to the pleasantly dopey state in which he finds himself.
Here's an html link to the file so you don't have to copy and paste the URL: Calle 13 - Suave
Leaving aside the merits ov this particular rydim, I take issue with your genre'isation, which would be similar to confusing lovers rock fe roots It's not reggae or dancehall, Its reggaeton!
Whilst it utilises dancehall, reggae, hip hop,and even plena, the main accent ov the music is drums, more precisely the incorporating of Bomba as an integral part of the genre
In live events the dancer leads the drums not the other way round (Which is why I guess, u see really fit girl dancers synchronising their booty to every lick ov the drum, in various reggaeton videos)
Right I've said me tuppence worth
Aceo U misunderstand me, I can do that (as in your link) quite easily
My complaint is, the link opens the url in Windows Media Playa, which on my PC is minus sound for the file ('n obviously it might be a problem that is not only local to me)
I play the file in Winamp or Realplaya, having extracted it via SDP but no doubt people might use Super © or the mac equivalent What I was alluding to was the inability to download direct by right clicking !
