Video bases on footage from the shortfilm L'Hôtel

Very effective stop motion - beautifully composed shots. What with frontman Florian Valentin sounding just like Dave Gahan the rest of the Depeche Mode-a-like thing falls easily into place. However, despite this video's similarity to (DM favourite) Anton Corbijn's valedictory piece for Joy Divison's Atmosphere I think Goewecke has done his own thing, especially if one looks at the touching short appended to this post.

beg to differ: with rich and nicely time-lapsed photography, and a cool location like that, what did they go and do (at the band's insistence, according to the further production info)? those lame projections (why do people still think that's an idea?) and pointless stopmotion of the guys (they're standing still!). shame. with a little more faith in the power of the imagery, this could have gone beyond ok.
