You guys are crazy. Anger makes music videos. Has been sinse the late 40's. Everything from commercials to promos have been modeled after his experimental works. And he's influenced almost every major filmmaker from the new wave to francis coppola to modern guys like wes anderson and tarantino.
I caught a collection of his work a few months backs during the whitney biennale. He's been floating around my mind ever sinse.
This is his most notable experimental film. He's kinda overwhelming. I'd even argue that there's more ideas in here than in any promo ever made.
