i've got to say. this guy is quite possible my least favorite director.
it's because he's mega experienced, he's got all the technique.
yet he's a cheezy motherfucker pretending to be cool
and that's unacceptable.
it's like he's pissing in the pool.

is this a new single? are they back to together? (have the ever split?) - anyhow. this song is not as catchy as the clip, i miss a real punchline in the bubblynes of the melody. the video is it's way very honest, funky divas, black & white and some soft sexual symbols: this is going to be a good heavy-rotator in the music-breaks of the ringtonechannels.
I'm with Hass on this one. How often do you get a high profile POP group in a video as different and classy as this? Well, not often In the UK, and if and when it does crop up it's generally a WIZ video. Great to see no lipsync for nearly three quarters of the video! How often does that happen with this kind of track/group? Yeah, it ends all of a sudden, yeah it's a bit of a no-brainer... but I can't help but love it. DK
I'm not the hugest fan of WIZ's stuff, but I like this too. The photography is stylish and dynamic and as kreeger points out, considering the artists, it is kind of off the beaten track.
The choreographed dance at whip-point is great.
considering this is such a shit track WIZ has done a good job, but its still pretty mediocre. true not much lip sync but not much really happens, just some walking and looking. the action unfolds very slowly, was this shot in Romania again? if so its getting very predictable
have you all gone mad. The thing with all singing shazneys is......THEY HAVE NO PERSONALITY.......same genre......class video.....check out kylie being directed by sophie muller.....this video is trying to be clever and it fails......stlye over content......drab song.......drab women....ANOTHER choreographed dance number when you least expect it.......oh my my......this should win 5 MTV gongs just because it WIZ........if this video had been directed by ANYONE other than WIZ............THEN this commments section would have ZERO comments, we would breeze past it.....AND if we had the luminocity to actually watch it.....we would all hate it.......FACT

Apparently All Saints have reformed This single is ov their album 'Studio One' I can't categorically state a-morphic, that I remain sane, coz I do like the song, n the video will pass
What does bug me though is the song title 'Rock Steady' The rydim's nuffin ov the sort It's too slow to be of that genre! It's more likely to be late 70's 'Rockers' Its in Dub style which further classifies it as such The nearest match I've found so far is 'Majority Rule' by Jimmy Riley! I know the tune, its really bugging me coz, it sounds like a Lee Perry production cut at Tubby's wiv Jammy at the controls n' I still ain't got a match

this is total crap. but i do like kasabian's "empire" video though. so i'm giving WIZ another chance.

I concur with lusk, pretty but uncohesive. Also no one outside the UK particularly cares what the All Saints birds are up to or who they are shagging or anything about them really so the novelty value of this video is wasted beyond the shores of Dover.
