Kama Vardi - Twelve Plastic Lovers (Dir.Jonathan Vardi)
erm... nice to see you breaking out of your stopmotion/theatrics mould. however: i bet this song would be a lot better if it weren't sung in english, and mixed with less reverb (or whatever it is that makes it sound awful). i also think some editing might help - it's pretty haphazard as is, so the nice moments are lost. your sister is pretty.
The song sounded really nice, it had a certain 'Nico quality to it, of which I'm a big fan. The video had some really great ideas in it, like the frame (perhaps you could explore more?) and the subtle colour palette. The playful nature of the video suited the song, the lo-fi feel, is something I really like, who wants to see well polished and perfect videos!?
Viva Jonathan Vardi!
It's nice how the clip has the look and feel of early movies, without using a trivial black and white, instead working on colors.
I disagree with progosk (except your sister is pretty). The recording has an amaturish sound which suits the song and the video - kind of like a really good living room recording, which often are better than the polished ones. It has personality, as does the video. I particularly like the location.
