VLC added support for new FLV codec
I'm going a little OT, but I think it's worth it.
The latest version of VideoLAN Media Player added support for the On2 VP6 video format, which replaced Sorenson Spark as the default video codec in the version 9 of Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Flash.
The full support (including the VP6.1 variant) is supposed to be finished for the launch of VLC v0.9
In the meanwhile I've been able to take this movie:
and convert it into a nice, standard compliant, full screen/TV screen playable (and iPoddable, if you care about that) MP4 file.
I love free software. Don't you?
