hey i really dug that. dunno why. she's a pretty excellent rapper. i guess i woulda thought she'd have bigger video budgets... but this looks like it really made the most out of limited resources.
I simply cannot look at her and not think of the night I met her while a friend, dressed as a jelly donut, tried to rap battle her during her set in frisco... too fucking hilarious... pics and story here and some youtube video from my still camera

That cringing jelly donut character is a friend of Zach Slow this guy who works as a creative at a san fran agency who raised $10k to go on a date with lady sov.

she did the date with him, but apparently he was a bit of a loser so she made a few remarks to some press. In return he got Jelly donut to dis her and try and take over one of her gigs.
Funny but painfully middle class and such an obvious pr fest for an adland stunt. I doubt sovereign gives a fuck as jelly donut aint the one signed to Def Jam is he
